Important to know
NDIS funding is not automatic. Assessments, quotes, owner consent and approvals may be required before work starts. Ordinary renovations and general improvements are not necessarily disability supports.

Do I need an occupational therapist?
An appropriate assessment is often required, especially for complex modifications. Check the current NDIS requirements for the proposed work.
Can a rental property be modified?
Property-owner consent and any relevant approvals must be obtained. Talk with your landlord and support team before arranging work.
Will the NDIS pay for a new bathroom?
Only eligible disability-related modifications may be considered. A general renovation is not automatically funded.
How do I start?
