Is SIL the same as SDA?
No. SIL is assistance with daily living; SDA is purpose-designed housing for eligible participants. They have separate eligibility and funding arrangements.
Can I choose who I live with?
Your preferences are important. Discuss household compatibility, available options and your support arrangements before making a decision.
Does my NDIS plan cover SIL?
SIL must be suitable for your assessed needs and included in the relevant funding arrangements. Your NDIS contact or coordinator can help clarify your plan.
